“Just Saying” – It’s SOUL TIME

Soul Music is the music of love and hope and we can all use a whole lot of Love and Hope in our lives right now! Join Pat Colwell and The Soul Sensations as they release their brand-new single, “Just Saying” for an exclusive Video Concert livestreamed from historic Johnson Hall. Maine’s #1 Soul Band is joyously stuck in a time warp when Motown, Stax – Volt, and Muscle Shoals ruled the airwaves… a time when Smoky Robinson came on your radio and you pulled your car over and celebrated with a dance on the side of the road! Soul is straight from the human heart music: music written and performed by human beings – smash the machines! Our songs, and the ones we cover, are steeped in the tradition of Marvin Gaye, Aretha, Wilson Pickett, The Supremes, and Otis Redding. As a special treat for our fans we will also include selections from Etta (At Last) … our loving tribute to the musical genius of Etta James.

This music has been whistling around my head ever since I saw James Brown, The Rascals, Mary Wells, and Sly when I was a kid and here it is for you! Turn it up loud and DANCE in your living room!
