At the front corner of Johnson Hall’s historic 1864 building, where what used to be the storage room, the space for the new elevator is being prepared.

Thanks to funding from Northern Border Regional Commission, a Federal-State partnership for economic and community development, the majority of the cost of the elevator, stage lift, and loading dock are paid for. The remaining funding comes from community members, businesses and individuals, who have chosen to support the renovation of Johnson Hall.
