Johnson Hall’s Homegrown Series featuring The Sump Pumps

The Johnson Hall Homegrown Series is a new series that will always feature local artists.

The Sump Pumps

Compromised of veteran Maine musicians Justin Walton (guitar/vocals) Josh Robbins (bass/vocals), and Lance Burpee (drums), The Sump Pumps have been rockin’ central Maine stages for about 13 years. They specialize in irreverent, deep track covers (the songs you forgot remembering), and quirky originals (“Walton’s got a Rolodex worth of musical styles and ideas at his fingertips. He flips through rock, funk, pop, psych, jazz and R&B like you flip through radio stations on a car trip out of state, usually employing at least two genres per song.” “Color me impressed as hell” – Chris Busby, The Bollard). These days The Sump Pumps are frequently joined by young Phil Walton on keys, adding new dimensions to their unique sound.

This show will take place on the Logan Stage (1st Floor)
