We’ll Always Remember You
Benny Reehl, one of the founders of Johnson Hall, a terrific performer, producer, initiator, and mentor, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2005. Benny’s vision brought new life and a new stage to our historic Johnson Hall Opera House, where he and his wife Denise led a renovation of the first floor into a performance and teaching space, and inspired a generation of “new vaudevillians.” Johnson Hall is now bursting with arts activity, as he envisioned. His dream of the restored upstairs theater is now moving forward as a community effort. Thank You, Benny! We’ll always remember you.
